Adrien Broner has been ordered to spend 30 days in jail as a result of turning up late to a court hearing.

More legal woes continues to hinder his professional boxing career. Following his victory in April over Londoner Ashley Theophane, the American has gotten himself in more hot water with the law.

The 26-year-old was due to face charges stemming from an alleged assault on a man back in January outside a bowling alley. After failing to show up on the schedule time, the judge took it decided to throw the book at the troubled boxer.

The case was expected to be dismissed, but the four-weight world champion didn't arrive to court on time. Oh, Adrien. As the judge claimed he looked "drunk" or "hungover", though he cited his tardiness believing someone had "put something" in his drink.

Despite eventually arriving, the judge still imposed the sentence finding him in contempt of court, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

He posted this message on his Twitter around 24 hours earlier. Broner's life in a nutshell.

The self-proclaimed 'Problem' is becoming exactly that to the society.
