Eddie Hall Threatens To Bite Thor Bjornsson's Nose Off In Heated Exchange Ahead Of Their Boxing Match

Eddie Hall Threatens To Bite Thor Bjornsson's Nose Off In Heated Exchange Ahead Of Their Boxing Match

The pair will finally settle their feud in the ring in Dubai on Saturday.

Eddie Hall and Hafthor 'Thor' Bjornsson had to be separated after almost coming to blows in a heated confrontation just days before their long-awaited boxing match.

The two former World’s Strongest Man winners will finally settle their long-running feud in Dubai on Saturday in a fight dubbed 'The Heaviest Boxing Match In History'.

Bjornsson, 33, and Hall, 34, have continually traded insults in the build-up to the fight and things boiled over when the pair came head-to-head at a gym at the weekend.

In footage posted on social media, Hall squares up to Bjornsson and then threatens to bite off the nose of the Icelandic giant, who played 'The Mountain' in HBO's Game of Thrones.

Hall then challenges Bjornsson to “step outside” while calling him a “f****** p****”, prompting an angry reaction from Icelander.

Bjornsson calls Hall a “piece of s***” as their respective camps desperately attempt to keep the two men apart.

Hall upped the war of words on Monday by labelling Bjornsson as a “c***”, while also questioning his opponent's decision to lose more than 50kg in preparation for the fight.

“Thor, for whatever reason, looks like a skinny dog on heat,” Hall told Muscle and Health.

“For me, it’s just stupid. It’s supposed to be the heaviest boxing match in history, and he just looks ill. It’s not just me saying that, I see comments all over the place from people asking if he’s sick. That’s not me saying that, but the general public.

“I think he has genuinely got a problem with cardio. I don’t think he can sustain the full six rounds. I believe that’s why he’s lost so much weight. because his fitness levels are terrible.

“I’ve wanted an excuse to punch this man in the face for a long time. Where I’m from, if someone burns you, you bite their nose off. We had to get along for professional reasons whilst presenting Strongman shows, but this fight - this is real.

"I’m not a false person. I’m not two-faced. I hate Thor. And he hates me. We’re gonna settle this like men should settle things.

"This will not be left to the referee’s decision. This is either gonna be a knockout, or the fight will be stopped.

"Thor will either be on his back, or the referee’s gonna save his life before that happens. Just to finish up, Thor’s a c**t."

Bjornsson, meanwhile, believes Hall has focused too much on power in his fight camp and is confident of beating the Brit on Saturday.

"He wants to finish this fight in the first round,” Bjornsson told SPORTbible.

"He’s throwing wild hooks. He’s keeping his hands down. His foot stance seems off, he comes off square.

"That’s just not going to work for him. It’s going to be a hard night for him. If I predict the fight myself, I can see it going badly for him early on.

"[I can see him] making big mistakes with wanting to finish the fight."

The two men will finally settle their feud at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Saturday, with the fight streamed for free via SEGI.TV.
