'Dana White Would Beat Up Jake Paul In A Fight' According To UFC Champion

'Dana White Would Beat Up Jake Paul In A Fight' According To UFC Champion

"They should fight, like that's the fight to make right now."

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has claimed company president Dana White would beat Jake Paul in a fight.

Undefeated boxer Paul has gone back and forth with White this year and put him on his opponent 'bucket list' after defeating Tyron Woodley.

Despite White being 52-years-old with little combat experience, Sterling believes he'd have Paul's number almost immediately.

"He should fight Dana, that would actually be hilarious," Sterling said on his FunkMasterMMA YouTube channel.

"I think Dana might actually beat him up though cause Dana is his size and Dana's actually boxed, I don't know if he boxed like professionally, I think he might've done couple of amateur fights.

"But I think Dana got like decent hands and I think he's watching a fight where he would be okay, just the cardio. They should fight, like that's the fight to make right now."

White has been critical of boxing in recent years and called the sport 'screwed up' in an explosive interview.

He did help promote Conor McGregor's blockbuster fight with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017, however.

Paul's knockout win over Woodley earlier this month means he now holds three wins over UFC alumni in the ring.

He beat Woodley via split decision in August and also knocked out Ben Askren back in April.

It won't be the end of him fighting MMA stars though.

The 'Problem Child' has traded words with Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, in addition to welterweight champion Kamaru Usman on social media.

"I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company!" Paul said in a message aimed at White after destroying Woodley.

"Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman, let me get Diaz, let me get Masvidal, let me get [Conor] McGregor because I'm going to embarrass them too.

"I promise you that, Dana, I promise you that."

UFC don't let their fighters go to other promotions without special circumstances, such as McGregor's clash with Mayweather.

White has been vocal about his dislike for Jake and brother Logan, stressing he will never work with them.
