Canelo Somehow Dodges Caleb Plant's Swing And Counters To Land Brutal Left Hook In Press Conference

Alvarez will attempt to all of the world titles at super middleweight, when he faces IBF champion Plant in November and the rivalry is real.

Saul Canelo Alvarez has given an early warning to his next opponent, Caleb Plant, as to what he can do, after the pair got into a brawl at their press conference.

Canelo is almost certainly the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet right now and has won titles at light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight and even light heavyweight.

It's at super middle that the Mexican has done most of his damage and he has picked up all but one of the major world titles at 168 lbs.

The only belt he hasn't yet won is the IBF version, which belongs to Plant. On November 6th, the pair will face for the chance to be the first man to own all four of the major organisations belt at super middleweight.

On Tuesday, the pair met for the first time in a press conference on the fight and things got extremely spice off. During the face off they ended up in a brawl, when Canelo pushed his upcoming opponent, and then landed a shot that cut the American.

Canelo might be considered the best in the world but he has a loss on his record, although it was to Floyd Mayweather in his defence, whilst Plant is yet to suffer a defeat.

The 29-year-old said he would still be undefeated during the press conference and then turned to his opponent and asked 'Do you think that's funny?'

When the multi weight champ said he did, Plant then hit back saying, "Keep laughing motherf***er, because you know when you're gonna find out, pretty soon.

"You know when you're gonna find out, the same time everyone else found out, and you know when that was? When it was too late."

The Mexican had clearly heard enough as he got to his feet to eye up his upcoming opponent, who has only had 21 fights so far.

Plant then called his rival a 'b**ch' and a drug cheat, with Alvarez saying he was just making excuses before the fight.

Whilst Plant could maybe lay claim to winning the verbal sparring on their first meeting, he ended the showdown with a cut to the face after Canelo dodge his shot and came back with one.

This is all six weeks before the fight, lord knows what the best in the world can do when they meet in the ring.
