Tyson Fury's cutman Jacob 'Stitch' Duran has shut down the glove tampering conspiracy that has been circulating around social media.

The 31-year-old is now seen as the best heavyweight in boxing after his demolition job on Wilder, beating the American via TKO in the seventh round of their highly-anticipated rematch.

With many conspiracies flying around the internet defending Wilder's dramatic loss to the new champ, Fury's cutman for the rematch has spoken out about one conspiracy in particular.

One prominent theory that has circulated online has been that Fury's gloves were tampered with, allowing him to punch where there was no cushioning in the gloves.

The video below has garnered nearly a million views on YouTube, as it shows unnatural movement from Fury's fists in the fight.

Jacob Duran, who is known by many as Stitch, has since been questioned about the 'tampered gloves' conspiracy and had this to say about the idea to Boxing Social.

"I'll give you the facts, the Nevada State Athletic Commission is one of the best commission in the world," he said.

"They handle the gloves until it's time to put them on. There was no tampering whatsoever. I was there. It's just a big myth.

"It didn't happen. That's why you have the inspectors there to make sure everything is followed within the guidelines. None of that happened, but it's good for discussion.

"It's going to fade away. It's not even true, it's not even close to being true."

Jacob 'Stitch' Duran has notably been the cutman for many of the biggest names in combat sports.

He has worked with Fury, the Klitschko brothers, Lyoto Machida, and Forrest Griffin.

Meanwhile this latest theory comes in contention with the 45-pound ringwalk outfit excuse provided by Wilder, who recently confirmed he will activate his rematch clause.
