Mike Tyson proved the doubters wrong on Saturday, showing he still has it at the ripe old age of 54.

It was feared that the eight-round exhibition bout against 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr would be a disappointment due to the fighters having a combined age of 105.

But the pair managed to entertain fans from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The fight ended in a draw, and, while Jones Jr was disappointed in the result, Tyson seemed pleased with his performance. He added that he wants to get in the ring again soon.

"Yeah, but I'm good with the draw. I entertained the crowd, the crowd was happy with it," he said.

"Sometimes that two minutes felt like three minutes. I'm just happy I got this under my belt and I'm going to continue to go further and do more, absolutely.

This is bigger than fighting and winning a championship. We're humanitarians, we're helping people.

"That's bigger, I'm into that now."

Before the bout, Tyson had said that he is giving the money earned from this fight to charity - which could mean millions of pounds for good causes.

However, after seeing how well the former heavyweight world champion did this weekend, fans will likely be most excited to see who Tyson fights next.

He came out fast in the first round, showing supporters what they've been missing since his last professional fight back in 2005.

Even Jones Jr, a legendary boxer himself who won world championships in four weight classes and fought as recently as three years ago, had trouble keeping up with Iron Mike.

Thoughts on the Tyson vs Jones fight? Do you think 'Iron Mike' should fight again?
