Anthony Joshua Defends World Titles Against Joseph Parker, Claims WBO Belt

It's all over from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

For the second time in a row, Cardiff hosted a world heavyweight title contest involving Anthony Joshua.

Joshua, 28, was making the fifth defence of his IBF world title, and the second defence of his WBA (super) belt after claiming the title against Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley Stadium.

While Joseph Parker had his WBO strap on the line.

For the first time in his career, Joshua went the distance and added the WBO world heavyweight title to his collection in his first ever decision victory in his 21st fight, inflicting a first professional loss on Parker and becoming the unified world heavyweight champ.

Who's next for AJ?

After starching the previously unbeaten Lucas Browne last weekend, could Dillian Whyte receive a world title shot?

Or, perhaps another unification match-up against the undefeated Deontay Wilder - the WBC world heavyweight champion.

The American is fresh off a stunning victory against dangerous Cuban Luis Ortiz.

Of course, former heavyweight king Tyson Fury remains in the wings after returning to the gym following a hiatus from the sport.
