Conor McGregor's Latest Training Footage Has Fans Saying The Same Thing

Conor McGregor has sent fans into overdrive after teasing a boxing return - but they'd rather seen him return to the UFC.
'The Notorious' retired for the third time in four years back in June and admitted "nothing excited him" in the MMA world.
But he has taken to Instagram to share footage of himself shadow boxing while sporting a new shaven head.
McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather back in 2017 in a losing effort and has pushed for a rematch ever since.
Dana White said the UFC are working on "some fun stuff" for Conor McGregor. It looks like McGregor is returning to the boxing ring in the near future... pic.twitter.com/T8iQ3fRIEf

While the Irishman fighting inside the squared circle would be big news, many still believe he has unfinished business back in the UFC.
Will be very interesting if he doesn't take Masvidal, Khabib OR at least Nate next.
I guess money talks but it's such a bummer.

As a McGregor fan, this sucks to see. I wanna see him do MMA..

God I hope not. @TheNotoriousMMA missed the prime of his career perusing boxing matches and getting arrested. I'd love to see him getting back to what he does best and getting back into the octagon

the fun part is all the haters watching him get schooled again if he does attempt a boxing return

UFC president Dana White has also added fuel to the fire by teasing a boxing announcement in the next few days.
"The world of boxing hasn't been able to do what I've been able to do [in MMA] over the last 20 years," White told BT Sport per DAZN.
"If they can't do things when the world is normal, you can't expect them to do things when the world is crazy."

"I peeked under the hood a lot there for the last year. Looked at different things and I said, 'I don't know man, I don't know if this is fixable.'
"Funny enough, since the pandemic I've been looking at other options too.
"When it's time, I'll let you know, I'm not ready yet. But [it'll be] in the next couple of weeks."
Could McGregor's training footage be a hint he is linking up with White in the boxing world?
