Logan Paul has boldly stated that he is going to knock out Floyd Mayweather, become the greatest boxer on earth, then instantly retire and not give Floyd a rematch.
The YouTuber, who takes on retired boxing great Mayweather this weekend in Florida, also sneered at the fact that their contest is officially an exhibition, pointing out they will be wearing 10-ounce gloves and fighting without headgear.
"Exhibition my ass. This is an eight-round fight, three minutes each. 10-ounce gloves," said Paul on Showtime TV in the US, per Boxing Scene.

"I'm going to knock him out and become the greatest boxer on the planet. Then I'm going to retire and not give Floyd the rematch... He doesn't know who he's getting in the ring with.
"He really thinks I'm a YouTuber. He really thinks I'm a fake fighter. I get it. Everything that I've portrayed online says the same thing. But we're really about this life now. Floyd underestimating me is going to hurt him."
The 26-year-old Paul has had one licensed professional boxing bout, a controversial points defeat to fellow social media star KSI. Mayweather, by contrast, built up a perfect 50-0 record during his 21-year boxing career, officially retiring after he stopped Conor McGregor in 2017.

Mayweather is now 44 years old and significantly smaller than Logan Paul. But few believe that youth or size will make any difference when an all-time great ex-pro takes on a near total novice.
Floyd himself described the contest as a "legalised bank robbery", stating: "I believe in working smarter, not harder. So if it's something easy like [a Paul fight]... I gotta do it. I have to do it."
The promotional build-up has been at suitably wild, WWE levels with a brawl breaking out between Mayweather and Logan's brother, Jake, after the latter swiped Floyd's hat. However Logan believes it's all been good when it comes to selling fight.

"Both Floyd and I knew that this s**t was going to be a spectacle on June 6. I don't think we realised that it was going to be a spectacle before June 6," he said.
"Any time there is an event with my brother, or myself involved, it's going to go down, unfortunately... shout out to my brother for selling the fight for me.
"Whether they want to watch me achieve the impossible or whether they want to see me get knocked the f**k out, it's going to be a f***ing show. It is a spectacle."
