Punk joined the UFC in 2014 following a controversial departure from the WWE earlier that year.
His debut fight came in 2016 against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in which he lost by submission.
He then battled Mike Jackson two years later at UFC 225 in which he lost by unanimous decision and suffered brutal injuries.
The jibe from KSI could come after Paul discussed wanting to move to the UFC in the buildup to their rematch.

He has set his sights extremely high, stating he would gladly fight Conor McGregor.
Speaking to Oddschecker per talkSPORT, the YouTube personality said:
"Yeah, I'll fight Conor. He's f****** punching old men in the face.
"He did take it (the punch) though! He took the punch and then just drank his whiskey. Those Irishmen dude, those Irishmen. Wild."
"No offence to Eddie (Hearn), I'm an MMA fan. I want to do MMA after this. I wrestled in high school."
He also said that should he venture into the octagon, it would have to be a trained fighter he faces rather than a YouTuber.
"It won't be a YouTube (opponent), it can't be.
"I've progressed so far skill-wise to fight any celebrity.
"It won't be any celebrity, that's for sure.
"I would love to fight in the UFC -- I would love Dana White to put me in the octagon."
Considering the publicity generated for his fight with KSI, it would not be a shock to see Paul in the UFC at some point in the future.
