The incredible graphics on an upcoming boxing game look so realistic that boxing fans cannot wait for its release.

Ever since EA Sports halted their 'Fight Night' series of games in 2011 with 'Fight Night Champion', boxing die-hards have been crying out for a game to go to the next level. From the looks of it, 'eSports Boxing Club' could be the answer to their prayers.

The gameplay screenshots and early videos look incredible, with some amazing fighter renderings. If your lifelong dream is to be a pixel-perfect Johnny Nelson - and whose isn't? - then take a look at this teaser.

Sensational visuals. The simulation/RPG created doesn't have a full roster of fighters announced, but already confirmed are British legends Ricky Hatton and Frank Bruno, unbeaten light-welterweight world champion Josh Taylor, and exciting prospects such as Conor Benn.

More importantly, they're taking the action side of the game seriously. "eSports Boxing Club features real-life weight-to-limb ratios and velocity impacts," comes the promise via creators Steel City Interactive.

"Every big power-punch can be felt, with real-time damage and staggers!"

If they've put as much effort into the mechanics as they have the 3D character models, we can well believe it and cannot wait to try it.

Boxing fans have been so starved of gaming action that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua joining the roster for EA's 'UFC 4' game was about as good as it got. But perhaps now there will be a punch-perfect sim all for boxing addicts.

'ESBC' is set to have a full career mode and an early 2021 PC release is expected.

One word of warning, however. The Steel City website boasts that, "Fully licensed governing bodies such as the prestigious WBC and The Ring Magazine titles feature in the game."

Wow, even in this virtual world we can't escape the alphabet titles. Let's hope we don't have to fight some mismatched mandatory or lose our interim diamond belt as the very first challenge.
