Hearn has been asked about a return numerous times and he decided to set the record straight.
"EA Sports don't really seem interested in boxing and Fight Night," the Matchroom Boxing chief begun.
"So, should I just do one myself?"

Another question comes later in the stream and the 40-year-old discusses a new game at greater length.
"The one and only Big K, yes you and me will start our own game.
"We will start our own rival game to EA Sports' Fight Night, me and the one and only Prince Khalid, we will do it.
"WhatsApp me after this, let's get it sorted. I'm gonna release a new boxing game, f**k it let's do it."

Fans have immediately praised Hearn for the move and believe it could be the wake up call EA Sports need.
One fan replied with: "EA Sports are too comfortable and don't want to push their limits. If Hearn follows up on this and it's a success EA will wake up and make a new game. Shame on EA for not being pioneers anymore."
While another explained: "If Eddie can pull this one off, You can call him SIR Eddie Hearn from now on..."

Many have wondered why EA Sports have refused to return to the boxing series considering their other successful sporting franchises.
The company had many speculating if a new installment was coming last year after closing the Fight Night Round Four servers.
But there has been no word out of the company since and it looks like Fight Night will remain untouched for the foreseeable future.
