Anthony Joshua is one of the world’s greatest boxers, so it’s no surprise that he’s raking in the cash.
The heavyweight champion returns to the ring on Saturday 24th September to battle it out against Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur.
If all goes well, Joshua could be in the ring with Tyson Fury in 2022 - that is if Fury defeats Deontay Wilder.
The 31-year-old Olympic gold medalist is said to be worth an eye-watering £115 million in 2021. That’s according to the Sunday Times Rich List, which suggests AJ’s bank balance will enjoy yet another boost after the highly buzzed about fight against Tyson Fury in 2022.
The publication said both boxers could earn upto £100 million for the fight, which is set to happen towards the end of 2022.
As well as his earnings from boxing, AJ reportedly has several lucrative brand sponsorship deals to keep his pockets lined. According to TalkSport, the boxer has worked with the likes of Under Armour, Jaguar Land Rover, Beats Electronics, Sky Sports and Hugo Boss.
He also worked alongside the 258 MGT management company and has his own AJBXNG apparel line.
As if all of that wasn’t earning him enough, AJ’s huge following online and celebrity status means he can also earn a pretty penny as a social media influencer.
AJ has nearly 13 million followers on Instagram, where he mainly updates fans about his training and upcoming fights and posts sponsored content.
His Instagram handle is @anthonyjoshua.
The heavyweight boxer is said to be a towering 1.98 metres (6ft 5”) tall.
