Floyd Mayweather Jr and Logan Paul have finalised a date and location for their much-hyped exhibition fight.

The retired 50-0 boxing legend is set to meet the 0-1 YouTuber, who lost his professional debut to fellow internet sensation KSI in 2019, in a one-off clash at some point this year.

The fight is the latest in a burgeoning pay-per-view market pitting established boxers against YouTube celebrities, with much interest fueled by the fighters' extensive social media networks.

Mayweather, a five-weight world champion with a perfect record, last fought professionally when he took on UFC fighter Conor McGregor back in 2017.

After toying with McGregor for nine rounds, Money secured his 50th and final victory after the referee stopped the fight during the tenth.

Mayweather's fight against Paul, however, won't count towards his illustrious 50-0 record because of its exhibition level status.

It's the money that counts, though, right?

Paul recently admitted that he could make in excess of $20 million for the fight, with the PPV grossing in excess of $100 million.

Not a bad payday for a YouTuber-turned-boxer, eh?

Here, SPORTbible takes a look at everything you need to know ahead of the exhibition event.

What happened at the press conference?

After a press conference, fellow YouTube boxing sensation and Logan's younger brother Jake, interrupted a Mayweather press scrum to talk some trash to the 44-year-old boxing legend.

The pair went back and forth, with Mayweather suggesting he'd beat both brothers on the same night.

Paul then ripped the cap off Mayweather's head and attempted to make off with it, shouting, "Got your hat" as he mocked his brother's opponent.

Flanked by his typically large entourage, Mayweather lost it, hunting down Paul as fists flew and the situation descended into chaos.

Mayweather could be heard threatening to kill Jake Paul and accusing the 24-year-old of being disrespectful.

Logan was unable to join the fracas, held back by security no doubt conscious of the fight-cancelling potential of the situation.

If the beef between Mayweather the Paul brothers didn't seem real before, it sure does now.

When is Mayweather vs Paul and what time will it be on?

The boxing exhibition between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Logan Paul was originally scheduled for February 20, before being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, a date has now been made official.

In a video Paul tweeted out on Tuesday, it was announced that the exhibition fight will take place on Sunday, June 6.

The date avoids putting the exhibition in conflict with another boxing event, a Triller Fight Club pay-per-view featuring Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr.

How can I stream Mayweather vs Paul?

Mayweather Promotions and Showtime Boxing both tweeted out confirmation of the event, which will air on Showtime pay-per-view.

Where is Mayweather vs Paul happening?

The fight is set to take place from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

With the event scheduled to take place in Florida, the promoters will be able to sell tickets for a full crowd.

UFC 261 took place this past Saturday and was a quick sellout with over 15,000 in attendance.

Hard Rock Stadium, on the other hand, can hold over 65,000 fans.

Mayweather vs Paul predictions and betting odds

Mayweather has enjoyed an illustrious career in the boxing ring, to say the very least.

A 50-0 former world champion taking on a YouTube sensation with just one professional fight under hit belt - a loss, at that.

So, let's not kid ourselves here, there will only be one winner.

Mayweather is expected to win this by knockout - with the only question being how long it will take him.

The smart money would be a first-round knockout from Mayweather, however, odds for the fight are yet to be finalised.
