Hulk Hogan has praised Aussie star Chris Hemsworth and his flawless physique as the actor gears up to portray the wrestling icon in a Netflix biopic.

Everyone knows the Thor actor is an absolute beast, but we all know Mr America is even bigger.

Taking to Twitter, Hogan posted images from Hemsworth's Instagram showcasing his rigorous workout in preparation for the role, alongside several photos from his own illustrious career, saying the star was now 'ready' to play him in the film.

It was first announced in February last year that Hemsworth would be playing Hulk Hogan in a film about his life, which will focus on his early career and the rise of Hulkamania in WWE.

Speaking to Total Film earlier this year in an interview, Hemsworth revealed that the preparation for the role was 'insanely physical' as he was required to put on more size than ever before.

Hemsworth said: "This movie is going to be a really fun project.

"As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude."

Hemsworth also added he had been planning a 'deep dive' into the world of professional wrestling.

"I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I'm really looking forward to doing."

He added that in order to achieve Hogan's signature look, he will also be lightening his hair, add in some balding, as well as don Hogan's famous moustache style.

While there's no word yet on when the biopic is set to be released, we do know that the flick will be directed by Todd Phillips of The Joker.

Hogan and Eric Bischoff will also serve as executive producers on the film, which Netflix has exclusive rights to.

This will no doubt be epic and Hemsworth has put in a huge graft to bulk up for the role. The big test will be whether he can mimic Hogan's smokey, husky accent and make us believe in Hulkamania all over again.
