NRL SuperCoach Champion Donates Winnings To Sister Fighting Breast Cancer

Tim Moodie, you are an absolute legend.

The Aussie NRL fan was recently crowned KFC SuperCoach champion for 2021, meaning he takes home a whopping $50,000 in prize money.

But in a heart-warming gesture, Tim has decided to donate basically his entire winnings to his sister Jaimee, who was diagnosed with breast cancer just a matter of weeks ago.

"I surprised her and said I will slip $45k into her My Cause page," Tim told News Corp.

"I want to use the money to make her journey a bit easier and get out of this together.

"She's got a really tough road ahead - chemo, she'll lose her hair, she'll have to buy a wig, she'll have to freeze her eggs, she's only 27."

It's understood Jaimee's aggressive breast cancer means she requires immediate surgery to remove the tumour before she eventually undergoes chemotherapy.

The devastating news means the newly-qualified personal trainer will no longer be able to work.

On top of that, her doctors have advised her to remain indoors due to the high threat of COVID-19 to cancer patients.

Upon receiving the awful diagnosis, a My Cause page was set up to help Jaimee out financially.

"We are devastated by this life-changing diagnosis Jaimee has been given," the description on the My Cause page reads.

"With strength and positivity, love and support we can help her beat this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"Please stay safe and well during these hard times and get your health checks."

Thankfully, Jaimee's loving brother was also on hand to support by chipping in with a hefty sum of cash.

"I need to keep $5k for myself but she's getting the rest," Tim added.

"Unfortunately I don't get to see her and hug her as much as I want to but we'll get around to that soon."

The page already has upwards of $13,000 in donations and doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon.
