Oh no.

Please no.

Beverley Mitchell has had an absolute shocker here.

The 7th Heaven star has copped a load of backlash from fans online after she gave a shoutout to none other than Jarryd Hayne on Cameo.

Yes, really.

Only problem being that she clearly has no idea what the former NRL player has been up to in recent years.

It's pretty well documented that Hayne has been involved in a very serious sexual assault trial following an incident on the night of the 2018 NRL Grand Final.

And as of last week, he now faces up to 14 years in prison after losing his court case.

Unfortunately for Mitchell, she was tricked into doing a Cameo shout-out for Hayne and fell for it massively.

But if you're going to be doing public shout-out videos for a bit of extra cash then you might want to do a bit of research into who you're actually talking about beforehand.

"Hey Jarryd Hayne," Mitchell says in the clip which has now circulated around TikTok and Instagram.

"But the 'Hayne Plane'? Sounds kind of fun.

"Tom and Frenchy tell me you seem to have bit off a bit more than you can chew, but they want to send you so many great wishes. I just think it's pretty fun and apparently Maisie is about the 'Plane' too.

"Be safe, be smart, have fun and sending you lots of love."

Come on Beverley, all it took was a simple Google search.

Unsurprisingly, though, this isn't the first time Mitchell has been suckered into giving a Cameo shout-out to an individual she really shouldn't have.

Back in July of 2020, she found herself squarely in the firing line after doing a really positive shout-out video to notorious Australian serial killer Ivan Milat.

Almost 12 months on and it seems she hasn't learned her lesson when it comes to doing a bit of research.
