Manu Vatuvei has taken to social media to reveal himself as the sportsman behind a number of drug-related charges.
The rugby league legend posted a video on Instagram explaining the police charges he's facing and how he plans on fighting them in court.
According to the man himself, back in 2019 he was charged with importation, possession and supply of methamphetamine which carries a life sentence in New Zealand - if he's found guilty.

Vatuvei says all these charges are "accusations".
"I just wanted to get something off my chest," he explained in the clip.
"It's something that has been holding me down for a while now and I'd rather you guys hear it from myself than the media

"In 2019 I was charged with importation, possession and supply of methamphetamine.
"All of these charges are accusations and I will be fighting my innocence for these charges.
"I know there will be a lot of questions and you'll want answers but I've been advised from my legal team that's all I can talk about."
35-year-old Vatuvei retired from professional rugby league back in 2017 following a stint in the Super League with the Salford Red Devils.
