Heart-Warming Moment Cronulla Sharks Players Hold Up Concussed Mitch Moses To Stop Him Falling Over

The Parramatta Eels halfback had just copped a massive knee to the head while attempting to make a tackle.

Mitch Moses looked very groggy after copping a massive knee to the head while attempting to tackle Cronulla Sharks forward Jack Williams.

But who was on hand to make sure he was alright?

The Cronulla Sharks players, that's who.

With Williams charging at the Eels defence at full pelt, Moses was the fist to meet him and decided to aim low with his tackle in a bid to bring the big man down.

But as Williams jinked and changed positions, his thigh and knee collided with Moses' head.

The force of the blow sent the Eels star crashing to the Bankwest Stadium turf.

Clearly concussed, Moses attempted to pick himself up from the deck but struggled to regain his balance.

Seeing Moses swaying back and fourth, the Cronulla Sharks players acted fast and were on hand to hold the struggling Eels star up to stop him from falling over.

Moses was eventually attended to by the club physio who made him come from the field so that he could conduct a head injury assessment (HIA).

It was later confirmed that Moses had, in fact, failed his HIA and wouldn't be returning to the game.

But even with their wounded star man watching on from the sheds, the Eels showed just how gritty they are as a team and ended up thrashing the Sharks 28-4.

The side well and truly dug deep and contained their opponents to just one try all game while scoring five themselves.

The impressive win takes the Parramatta Eels up to second place on the NRL ladder just behind the high-flying Penrith Panthers.
