New South Wales got off to an electric start in their Women's State of Origin clash against Queensland.
It took the visiting state just four minutes to cross the line with Isabelle Kelly bagging the opening try of the game.
The Blues looked threatening early on and their persistence paid off in just their third possession of the ball.
When the Blues were denied just inches from the try line, the ball was flung out towards the left flank.

Skipper Kezie Apps made a darting run through the middle which confused the Queensland defence, leaving a huge cap in the line for Kelly to exploit.
But while the Maroons defence was all over the place, Kelly still had plenty to do.
With recovering defenders breathing down her neck, the St George Illawarra Dragons centre powered through and grounded the ball at the tightest of angles.

A superb finish, especially given the wet conditions on the Sunshine Coast
