A father will undergo facial surgery following a brawl at a local junior footy game in Brisbane.
The man, identified as Josh Jones, suffered the horrific injuries when around 20 rival parents spilled onto the field and began fighting during Wynnum Manly's Under 13s rugby league match against Logan Brothers.
While the true cause of the disagreement remains unknown, one of the spectators watching from the grandstand is heard shouting "they started it".

Footage of the scary incident emerged online showing both sets of parents rush onto the field with several people seen throwing punches as the kids watch on.
In one part of the video, a man is viciously kicked in the head while he's on the ground.
This awful act sparked more outrage from onlookers who rushed onto the field to confront the suspect.
"A Logan spectator or supporter has had an altercation with people from Wynnum in grandstands, where there was an argument which has then turned physical and gone on into the field of play," Wynnum Police senior sergeant Wayne Richter said.
"The person from Wynnum was then assaulted and taken away in an ambulance with significant injuries.

"We're treating the incident very seriously, we're concerned about the conduct of adults at a sporting event involving teenagers and we won't be tolerating this sort of behaviour."
It's understood local police are have launched an official search for a 36-year-old man from Logan who could be connected to the wild incident.
Queensland Rugby League are also investigating.
"Both Rugby League Brisbane and the QRL acknowledge the serious nature of this incident and will ensure a thorough investigation and response in accordance with the game's rules and code of conduct, while respecting the matter is also under investigation by the police," the governing body said in a statement.

"Due to these factors, the clubs, RLB and QRL are unable to provide any further comment at this time."
As for Josh Jones, he's set to undergo surgery on his face sometime this week.
In the meantime, a GoFundMe page has been set up to help support the victim's family.
"At this point he is still waiting for surgery. Josh was ready to commence with a new job on Tuesday, but now has no idea when he will be able to start," organiser, Debbie Saint, wrote.
