Lucky Rugby League Fan Wins $10,000 From Tom Trbojevic Bet

It's the long weekend coming up here in Australia and you can guarantee this bloke won't be coming home until at least Tuesday.

In fact, he' probably already called his boss to take a cheeky holiday for the next few weeks.

One lucky punter hit the jackpot during last night's State of Origin, winning a whopping $10,100 from a $100 bet.

The rugby league fan put his money where his mouth was and slapped $100 on New South Wales star Tom Trbojevic to score the first try of the game and get Man Of The Match.

And for anyone who didn't watch the 50-6 drubbing, Turbo did both.

He even capped off his stellar performance with a sensational hat-trick which secured the Blues thei biggest winning margin in State of Origin history.

Sportsbet.com.au posted a screenshot of the punter's winnings on social media the morning after the game, captioning the post: "Tell me you're a Turbo fan without telling me you're a Turbo fan..."

The Facebook post instantly gained a lot of traction with hundreds of fellow Blues fans tagging their mates in the comments section.

Not bad for a $100 bet.
