Jerome Luai Bringing His Penrith Boombox To State Of Origin Game 1 Is The Ultimate Power Move

Penrith trademark makes an appearance in the Blues sheds

Jarome Luai made a surprise appearance in the background on Nine's pre-game coverage of Origin, bringing a Penrith Panthers trademark to the Blues dressing room - Onefour.

Paul Gallen was trying to interview NSW captain James Tedesco and asked him what the mood was like in the camp - and if they'd been banging out the tunes on the bus.

As if on cue...Jerome Luai walked by with a boombox on his shoulder blasting Onefour out.

The Panthers have been famous this year for bringing a touch of Western Sydney musical flair to the dressing room, and with a strong Mt Druitt contingent in this year's Origin squad, it isn't surprising that the suburb's most famous rap crew made an appearance on footy's biggest stage.

Luai grew up in the suburb - as did his fellow debutant Brian To'o - and his halfback partner, Nathan Cleary, has been mates with him since school, so there's enough Mt Druitt in there to make sure that Onefour should make an appearance too.

Hey - they'll be Against All Odds in a stadium full of Queenslanders tonight, right?
