Jack De Belin will be allowed to return to the NRL after the sexual assault charges against him were dropped.

The St George Illawarra Dragons star and a friend had plead not guilty to five counts of aggravated sexual assault following an incident in Wollongong back in late 2018.

Now, according to reports from the Daily Telegraph, all charges have been formally dropped with De Belin informed of the news by the Department of Public Prosecutions.

De Belin's return still needs to be approved by the NRL before he can step foot on the field.

More to come!
