First Blood To New South Wales As Tom Trbojevic Bags The Opening Try Of Game 1

New South Wales have drawn first blood in State of Origin with Tom Trbojevic crossing for the first try.

The Manly fullback, playing in the centres in Origin, went over from a Nathan Cleary pass.

The try came on the back of a silly penalty from Kyle Feldt, who took out a kick-chasing Josh Addo-Carr when the ball was easily going dead.

Cleary kicked the goal, adding to an earlier penalty - also given for obstructing the kicker - to put the Blues 8-0 in front.
