It's the Blues against the Maroons.
And with the 2020 State of Origin series just around the corner, it got us thinking: Which was the best ever fight between NSW and QLD?

Whether it was Paul Gallen and Nate Myles going toe-to-toe in 2013 or the infamous 'Cattle Dog' incident from 1997, a good old fashioned stink during the heat of battle has become synonymous with State of Origin.
But ever since NRL officials deemed a punch to be worthy of a sending off, the biff has vanished from the game.

In one segment, Geyer delves into stories of how some of the most iconic State of Origin brawls all started - and well, it makes for nostalgic viewing.
The eight-minute clip features rugby league greats such as Tom Raudonikis, Joey Johns, Paul Sironen, Paul Harragon, Martin Bella, Steve Walters, Mal Meninga and Wally Lewis.
