It's official: Dustin Martin is not human.

The Richmond Tigers superstar proved once again why he's one of the best the AFL has to offer after he pulled off one of the most outrageous kicks of the season.

To accompany his best-on-ground performance against the Brisbane Lions on Tuesday, Martin left game commentators speechless after producing another moment of magic.

The 2017 Brownlow Medallist, who is in scintillating individual form this campaign, picked up the ball close to the boundary line on the left wing with defenders breathing down his neck.

Needing to dispose of the ball quickly, Martin did so with elite precision - and boy was it special to watch.

Instead of hooking the ball into the inside 50 with his left boot, Dusty subtly disguised his pass by kicking the ball with the outside of his right foot.

Understanding that a left-footed pass could have potentially been blocked, Dusty's right-footed effort fooled both the recovering defender on his tail and every Lions player inside 50.

The seamlessly deft effort landed right in the hands of isolated Richmond forward Jack Higgins who was gifted a chance at goal.

The impressive skill left AFL great and Fox Footy commentator Garry Lyon in awe.

"You can talk about footy all you like and have your debates and your arguments, but no one does that. No one does that like Dusty," Lyon said.

"Every time Dustin gets it, you're a legitimate scoring chance.

"There's no one quite like Dustin Martin in the competition. We're not telling anyone anything they don't know, but we got further evidence of it.

"When he gets it, his ability to go to different parts of the ground is almost unsurpassed and to go to it in a manner that is almost always to the benefit of Richmond.

"Other players are limited in their ability to kick distance or length or power. But he has got the lot, this bloke."

St Kilda legend Nick Riewoldt was equally as impressed with Martin's effortless skill.

He said: "You still have moments where it just takes your breath away. That kick on the outside of the foot - he just does stuff other players can't do."

Richmond sit in third place on the AFL ladder following their 82-41 victory over the second-placed Lions.

Dusty, in typical Dusty fashion, was unstoppable as he finished with 24 disposals, four clearances and nine inside 50s.
