Patrick Mahomes Inventing New Ways To Score Following Absurd Underarm Pass

Patrick Mahomes just keeps getting better and better.

The Kansas Chiefs quarterback is reinventing the position with every NFL game he plays.

And in saying that, he's reinventing different ways to score touchdowns too.

While he's not throwing no-look touchdowns or left-handed passes, the generational quarterback is leading his team to Super Bowls.

But you don't just win Super Bowls and league MVPs at the age of 24 by being a one-dimensional player.

Mahomes is well and truly changing the game - and his latest piece of individual brilliance proves it.

With the second quarter coming to a close against the New York Jets, Mahomes and Co were two yards from the goal line when Chiefs head coach Andy Reid called an awesome play.

As the ball was snapped, Mahomes rolled out right of field and quickly threw the ball to Kansas City's tight end Travis Kelce for the big man to score a touchdown.

Only it wasn't a regular pass from Mahomes.

It turns out the 25-year-old threw the ball underarm to his teammate.

The play was so slick that it completely caught the Jets defence napping.

Replays of the absurd pass flooded social media with fans going wild.

The Chiefs ended up winning 35-9 over the Jets, but it was at this point in the game that the winless Jets surely knew their day was going to end badly.
