The 'Suns In 4' guy is now a household name across the globe, particularly in the United States.

And now the man at the centre of it all is conducting interviews to tell his side of the wild story that has been seen by millions on the internet.

During the NBA playoff clash between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets, social media well and truly went into meltdown when a single video was posted online.

In the clip, Nuggets fans can be seen fighting with rival Suns supporters in the bleachers at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

Two Denver fans appear to gang up and attack one Suns fan, but the victim quickly proves he's more than capable of holding his own.

As tensions in the stands boil over, the Suns supporter pushes the two men away and - for a split second - the argument seemed to have been defused.

But boy, weren't we all wrong.

Just as everything appeared to have calmed down, one of the Nuggets fans tries to sucker punch the Suns fan - bad move, very bad move indeed.

The bloke donning the Suns jersey replied with a few swift shots of his own which left the Nuggets fan bleeding from the nose.

But while the fight itself was pretty confronting, it was perhaps another moment in the clip which truly made it go viral.

As the two parties were separated by arena security, the Phoenix fan shouted "Suns in 4! Suns in 4" - a quote which has achieved legendary status in such a short space of time.

The hilarious one-liner sparked a frenzy on social media, with Suns star Devin Booker even getting involved by asking for more information on the bloke.

That information was eventually received and it's understood Booker sent the man a bunch of merchandise and free tickets to a game.

The origins of where the spat stemmed from has remained unknown - until now.

Now remember, there's always two sides to every story, but on the surface the 'Suns In 4' dude actually seems like a decent bloke.
