Shaq to the rescue.

If you've ever been involved in a traffic accident, the last person you'd expect to see first on the scene is a big-name celebrity - let alone a 7-foot basketball icon.

Four-time NBA champion and media personality Shaquille O'Neal was caught on police video stopping to help a stranded driver who was involved in a crash.

According to the local County Sheriff's Office in Alachua, the person involved crashed their car on a busy Florida highway when a familiar face pulled up to offer a helping hand.

15-time All Star Shaq, who regularly appears on NBA on TNT as an analyst, reportedly hung out with the distressed driver until police officers arrived on the scene.

In incredible footage, the former NBA giant is seen on camera directing and briefing local sheriffs on what had happened - he even gave them a fist-bump on their way through.

It's not the first time a Los Angeles Lakers legend has stopped out with a traffic incident.

Back in 2018, Kobe Bryant was captured on camera attending to people who had been involved in a car pile-up in Orange County, California.
