All Hell Breaks Loose As Isaiah Stewart Charges At LeBron James After Nasty 'Cheap Shot'

The mass brawl was defused at one point but kicked off again shortly after when Stewart ran across the court to confront LeBron.

Isaiah Stewart was NOT happy with LeBron James.

Detroit Pistons forward Stewart had to be held back by arena security after he charged at LeBron multiple times following a nasty elbow that left him bleeding.

Chaos erupted when Stewart was left with a gash to the head following a cheap shot from the Los Angeles Lakers megastar during a free throw box out in the third quarter.

Whether it was intentional or not, that didn't matter to Stewart who took exception to the elbow.

Clearly fuming, Stewart then went to confront LeBron but was held back by the referees and his Pistons teammates.

The situation was defused and order appeared to be restored before an enraged Stewart somehow broke free and charged full pelt in LeBron's direction like a man possessed.

Obviously wanting to get his hands on the six-time NBA champion, Stewart started bulldozing past both sets of players, the security guards and NBA officials as the red mist well and truly descended.

"Fans stay in your seats, do not come onto the floor," the PA announcer in Detroit said.

Stewart was fuming with LeBron.

"Do not enter the floor. All fans stay in your seats. Do not come onto the floor and do not throw any objects. Don't do it or you will be nabbed and sent to jail. Stay where you are."

LeBron was eventually ushered away, before all hell broke loose again when Stewart made another last-ditched attempt to have a not-so-quiet word with LeBoron.

When cameras zoomed in, you could see the blood pouring down his face as he was escorted down the tunnel.

As for LeBron, he just sat back and watched while being tightly guarded by officials.

LeBron didn't react at the time but looked pretty shaken up.

The Lakers star was eventually ejected from the game while his teammate was handed a technical foul for his involvement in the fracas.

Meanwhile, Stewart was also tossed from the game.

Overall, it made for very scary scenes but play ultimately resumed with the Lakers clinching a 121-116 victory over the Pistons.
