Ronda Rousey wants to normalise breastfeeding, posting an inspirational photo and caption on social media with a message for anyone that thinks it's inappropriate.
In the picture posted on Instagram, the former UFC champion can be seen breastfeeding her newborn daughter Po.
And for the caption, the WWE star describes motherhood as "bada**, primal, beautiful s**t" and breastfeeding in public is "nothing to be ashamed of".
Rousey said: "Our boys asked me the other day how I'm going to feed Po on the plane when we take her with us to Hawaii. And I was like "uhhh, same way I always do". Then it occurred to me that they probably never seen anyone breastfeed before and weren't sure if it was appropriate in public.
"Motherhood's some badass, primal, beautiful shit that shouldn't be hidden. It still blows my mind that my body assembled this little person, pushed her out and now makes everything she needs to thrive. It's really nothing to be ashamed of, it's something to brag about.

A bunch of fellow wrestlers and mixed martial artists were quick to comment too, including Rousey's husband and former UFC heavyweight Travis Browne.

Winter Olympian Torah Bright is another high-profile athlete who has spoken openly about her breastfeeding experience.
Earlier this year, the Aussie uploaded a topless image on social media showing her doing a headstand on some grass while breastfeeding her young boy.

"Becoming a mother has unleashed something inside of me," Bright said in the caption.
"It's deeply spiritual. It's primal. It's raw. it's fierce. It is pure."
