The simple day-to-day task seems to have captured everyone's attention.

Conor McGregor's social media accounts are colossal.

With 41.7million followers on Instagram alone, the Irishman has no trouble with keeping his undying fans constantly updated with whatever he's getting up to throughout the day.

From his rigorous training sessions to the relentless promotion of his multi-million-dollar whiskey company, the Irishman certainly uses his platform to full effect.

But it appears one of his latest Instagram videos has left viewers scratching their heads a bit - including us.

Fresh off the back of his defeat to Dustin Poirier in their UFC 264 trilogy bout, McGregor has been using his spare time to recover from a devastating leg snap.

But while he's not hitting to gym to conduct his rehabilitation, the former dual-division champ has been enjoying the high life, hanging out with the likes of Justin Bieber and 2 Chainz as well as his family.

And in typical McGregor fashion, he's been documenting just about everything he's been doing - even including his trips to the bathroom, it seems.

In a recent clip posted on his Instagram, the 33-year-old can be seen washing his hands in a sink before drying them with a towel - yes, that's about it.

It's unknown exactly where the bathroom is, although it does look pretty fancy.

Incredibly, this short (and rather dull) clip of McGregor washing his hands and glancing into the mirror has already racked up almost 4 million views on Instagram alone.

Unlike us (who have absolutely no idea why you'd post something so random), it looks like his followers were loving the clip.

One fan replied: "Great tutorial on how to wash my hands, THANK YOU CONOR!"

While another added: "How do you make washing hands so attractive?"

Not everyone was onboard with the hand-washing video though.

One bloke commented: "Imagine getting to the stage of life where you're so detached from reality you have an employee there to video you washing your hands for social media."

Either way, for a video of someone doing such a simple day-to-day task to get 4 million views on Instagram alone is pretty impressive.

Interestingly, though, others social media users questioned whether McGregor was doing alright following his huge grudge match defeat to Poirier.

Some of McGregor's previous posts in recent weeks have resulted in fans reaching out to check-in on him.

In particular, a now-deleted video which seemed to worry people most showed the Irishman smoking a "big blunt" while spurting out what fans described as "nonsense".

On top of that, his recent trend of firing off nasty tweets aimed at long-time rival Khabib Nurmagomedov before swiftly deleting them hasn't sat well with some of his supporters.
