In mixed martial arts, the last thing you want is to be viciously knocked out (umm, obviously).

But being knocked out cold by a spinning back kick to the face must suck the most.

You're probably asking: "Why?"

1. Because copping a heel to the chin would bloody hurt.

2. And the way it in which it's done means you wouldn't even see it coming. Blink and you're out.

Magomed Bibulatov's knockout went viral on social media.

That appears to be the case with Rodrigo Praia who was brutally knocked out unconscious by Magomed Bibulatov at ACA 112 in Grozny, Russia.

Former UFC flyweight Bibulatov had his hand raised after just one minute of the fight thanks to a perfectly-executed spinning back kick which landed right on the chin of his helpless opponent.

And the highlights make for brutal viewing.

With around four minutes left in the very first round, Bibulatov pulled off the acrobatic move which sent Praia tumbling to the octagon canvas.

The fact that it was so beautifully concealed meant that Praia was unable to see it coming... and ultimately react.

Praia hit the deck in a heap and the referee immediately called off the bout.

When ACA uploaded the knockout on their social media channels, fans flocked to the comments section to tag their mates and share it.

ACA captioned their video: "SPINNING BACK KICK KNOCKOUT! Magomed Bibulatov is applying for the BEST knockout of the year!"

While there was countless other comments from fans saying: "Knockout of the year".

There's some certain UFC stars who would probably put their hand up for 'knockout of the year' contenders (cough cough Cody Garbrandt, Sean O'Malley or Francis Ngannou) but Bibulatov's effort is certainly in the conversation.
