Sidy Rocha Breaks Arm During MMA Bout But Somehow Continues Fighting

Be warned, the embedded video of this incident is graphic - if you're squeamish, look away now.

First of all... Sidy Rocha, you are one tough human.

MMA star Rocha suffered a nasty broken arm while fighting Karine in the co-main event at the Standout Fighting Tournament (SFT) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

But instead of tapping out like any normal person would under the immense pain, Rocha somehow soldiered on - and it makes for impressive (but tough) viewing.

Rocha and Silva were scrambling on the ground when Silva pulled guard.

With Rocha in top position, Silva looked to set up a triangle by attempting to grab her opponent's head and arm but it quickly turned into an arm bar.

And as the two continued to battle for position, Rocha's arm buckled under the immense pressure and snapped instantly.

Whether she realised or not is another question entirely, but Rocha appeared to continue fighting despite having a broken arm.

You can literally see her forearm bending in places that it really shouldn't be and hanging on by a thread of skin and flesh.

Despite initially letting the fighters continue, the referee finally jumped in a stopped the bout - much to Rocha's frustrations.

Event medics rushed into the octagon to assist the injured fighter and she was later taken to hospital requiring surgery.

But incredibly, according to MMA Fighting, Rocha's coaches and team decided to opt against going under the knife because she has already had a procedure on that part of her arm before.

These MMA fighters are just built differently.

And this proves it.
