Jimmy Crute is making noise in the light heavyweight division.
And the Aussie sent a message to the UFC matchmakers over the weekend with his devastating first round knockout of Modestas Bukauskas on Fight Island.
A top 15 bout surely looms for the 24-year-old after he received glowing praise from some of the UFC's biggest personalities for his rapid KO.

Even Dana White piled in.
The UFC president was heard shouting "That was a good one, kid!" as Crute scaled the cage to celebrate with him.
With just over three minutes remaining in the very first round, Crute and Bukauskas looked set to engage in another exchange of hands.

But just as Bukauskas attempted to set up a left kick, Crute read it perfectly and landed with an overhand right.
The punch hit Bukauskas clean on the jaw and dropped him.
Knowing that the fight wasn't quite over, Crute them launched a viscous attack.
The Aussie then followed up with a clean uppercut and a beautifully-disguised left hook which saw Bukauskas' head bounce off the canvas.

The referee quickly intervened and wasted no time in waving off the fight.
Instead of wheeling off in celebration, Crute then showed the type of bloke he really is by sitting next to the dazed Bukauskas to make sure that his opponent was alright.
And it didn't take long for fight fans and UFC experts to praise Crute for both the knockout and his sign of true sportsmanship.

UFC commentator Jon Anik tweeted: "Still high on Modestas Bukauskas, for the record. But Jimmy Crute would appear to be a real problem. And he's an exceptional human being, too. This light heavyweight division is in damn good shape at present. Congrats @CruteJim!"
While ESPN's Brett Okamoto said: "Jimmy Crute with the sledgehammer!!!! Wow!!! Crute is legit! Really like this guy. He told me before this fight he struggled with confidence earlier in his career, never thought of himself as an athlete. He looked like an athlete tonight. WOW."
As Ariel Helwani added: "Another impressive win for Jimmy Crute. Beaut finish."
Former light heavyweight champion turned UFC commentator Daniel Cormier was equally as impressed.

Sitting octagon-side, DC described the New South Welshman as "gifted and talented".
The decision making as to who Crute will fight next now lies in the hands of the UFC matchmakers.
But when asked who he wants to do battle with, the Aussie only had one answer on his lips.
"I know there's a man who was supposed to fight on this card, I know he won't turn me down... Nikita Krylov, what do you want?" he said.
