Unlike other episodes, the UFC fan favourite will be showing the cameras around his gym instead of his house.

"Hello MTV and welcome to my... gym".

Some of the biggest celebrities from 50 Cent, Kim Kardashian and even Snoop Dogg have all featured on the highly-popular television show MTV Cribs.

Now Jorge Masvidal is set to join that prestigious list.

But instead of giving a tour of his Miami mansion, the UFC fan favourite will be showing the cameras around his gym.

There will be no 100-inch televisions, 20-person sofas or insane home cinemas to show off like usual.

No, this time Masvidal will give viewers a glimpse into the American Top Team gym and what everyday life is like for a mixed martial artist.

Gamebred posted a teaser video on his social media channels and fans were already loving it.

He captioned the clip: "Grew up watching this show and now I'm on it. Check out the brand new season of @MTVCribs Monday at 8pm eastern #theresurrection."

While this year was plagued by the global pandemic, 2019 for Masvidal will go down as one of the most dominant 12 month periods for an individual in UFC history.

After a two-year layoff, the 36-year-old returned to the octagon a completely different fighter as he went on a three-bout win streak that saw him take out some of the biggest names in the sport.

But after falling agonisingly short in his last-minute welterweight title shot against Kamaru Usman at UFC 251 on Fight Island, the man known as 'Street Jesus' knows that a couple more wins could put him within touching distance of the belt.

And while his next opponent isn't known yet, many are calling for him to fight his training partner-turned-rival Colby Covington - a guy who is also a member of American Top Team.

Let's hope that episode of MTV Cribs features the duo accidentally bumping into each other before practise - how good would that be?

As Masvidal himself would say: "Super necessary".
