A Conor McGregor doppelgänger has been jailed for selling drugs under the UFC fighter's name.
34-year-old Mark Nye was slapped with a three-year sentence after local Surrey police spotted him disposing of two mobile phones and a load of drugs.
But it was after his initial arrest that the story became truly, truly bizarre.
When he was being questioned by police, Nye allegedly told them that his name was "Conor".

Officers were confused at the time, but things gradually started to piece themselves together after they discovered hundreds and hundreds of business cards for "McGregor Enterprises" on Nye's persons.
Putting two and two together, local law enforcement quickly realised that the subject was impersonating mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor during his drug deals.
According to police reports, the business cards read "the best drops in Surrey".
I mean, you really can't write this sort of stuff.
And if you take a look at the two individuals side-by-side, the similarities are uncanny.

From the beard and facial structure to the nose and eyes, drug-dealer Nye and UFC fan favourite McGregor do look very much alike.
It's understood Nye plead guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to just under three years behind bars.
As for McGregor himself, he's busy preparing for his highly-anticipated trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
