Just like the rest of us, Jake Paul didn't quite know what to make of Conor McGregor's recent UFC 264 press conference.
After years of keeping somewhat professional ahead of his bouts (well, sort of), the Irishman left everyone a bit shocked when he reverted back to his usual trash-talking techniques in a bid to rattle Dustin Poirier.
The live crowd inside the T-Mobile Arena was clearly loving it, cheering McGregor's every word, but the rest of us watching from home were left scratching our heads - and it seems Jake Paul is in the same boat.

After watching the fiery press conference, the YouTuber-turned-boxer now reckons McGregor has "lost it" and has promised to "expose" him if the two ever lock horns.
"You can tell Conor has lost 'it,'" Paul tweeted.
"He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity & you can tell he's trying to convince himself of his own lies. He takes offence to everything now. He's bathing in his own insecurity's. When we fight I will further expose him for the fraud he is."

And Paul wasn't done there either.
Hardly the type to bite his tongue, Paul then fired more shots at McGregor with a stinging follow-up tweet.
"I had my jeweller custom make me a $100,000 dollar diamond necklace of this frame. Reveal tomorrow," he said.

This tweet was accompanied with a photo of the UFC megastar lying lifeless on the canvas after getting knocked out by Poirier in their rematch.
The duo share a pretty lengthy history, mainly stemming from Paul - actually, all of it stemming from Paul.
The YouTuber has fired countless shots at McGregor on social media, his most notable swipe coming in the form of an expletive-laden video posted on his Instagram where he also slammed Dana White, Ben Askren, Nate Diaz and even McGregor's wife.

Since then, Jake has made no secret of the fact that he's angling for a fight with McGregor and has used every opportunity humanely possible to call him out.
The way boxing is nowadays, with every bloke and his dog wanting to lace up gloves for a bit of cash, you could never rule out a future bout between Paul and McGregor.

Win or lose against Poirier at UFC 264 and you can guarantee Paul will be firing off a few tweets with McGregor's name in then.
