Cristiano Ronaldo Cheekily Tries To Wrestle Khabib Before Engaging In Intense Face-Off

Throughout his entire UFC career, Khabib Nurmagomedov was NEVER taken down - and it seems he's keen on keeping that impressive achievement in tact, even into retirement.
The former UFC champion was having a nice catch-up with good friend Cristiano Ronaldo when the Manchester United forward jokingly attempted to wrestle with him.
In a picture posted on social media, CR7 can be seen shooting for a single leg before being batted away effortlessly by Khabib's giant hand.
It was all fun and games at the end of the day with the two legendary athletes posing for photographs and eventually engaging in a not-so-serious face-off.
"He is a best ever, keep doing your things Champ, you inspire millions of people around the world," Khabib said in the caption of his post.
While the failed takedown attempt and cheeky staredown was cool to say the least, perhaps the best thing was seeing two of the greatest athletes to ever walk the face of the earth enjoying each other's company.
So when Khabib posted the carousel of images and videos on his Instagram, it didn't take long for fellow sports stars and fans alike to heap praise on the two GOATs in the comments section.
Heavyweight boxing world champ Tyson Fury replied: "Legendary Link Up."
While Ronaldo himself added: "It's always good to see you my friend."
Elsewhere, a bunch of big-name celebrities chimed in, including Roy Jones Jr, Clarence Seedorf, Patrick Kluivert and even Aussie DJ Fisher.
Sports fans love a good cross-code link-up and it's hard to argue that this one isn't one of the greatest.
It's no secret that Khabib is a die-hard football fan and has spoken openly about his love for Brazilian icon Ronaldo Nazario.
The undefeated Russian was even on hand to watch United's recent draw with Everton at Old Trafford, a game which his favourite player started on the bench - much to the frustration of Red Devils fans.
But it seems Khabib doesn't just love watching football, he also enjoys playing it too, so much so that the retired MMA legend recently signed a professional deal with FC Legion Dynamo in the Russian third tier.
A statement from the club confirmed the news, stating: "A great battle awaits our Legion, for which we need great warriors.
"We are preparing to receive the RPL team together with Khabib Nurmagomedov."
