Conor McGregor Calls Steve-O A 'Crack Head' After Jackass Star Picks Dustin Poirier To Win Trilogy

It turns out Conor McGregor isn't a big Jackass fan.

Actually, tell a lie, it turns out he's not a big fan of anyone who decides to bet against him.

The wild Irishman has gone swinging into none other than Steve-O for absolutely no reason whatsoever, labelling the Jackass star a 'crack head'.

The brutal comments come after popular stunt man Steve-O predicted Dustin Poirier would come out on top in his trilogy bout with McGregor - which, of course, he did.

In the build-up to the lightweight grudge match, the UFC did what they normally do and asked some of the biggest celebrities on the planet to give their predictions for the fight.

And in a video posted by the UFC's official account, Steve-O picked Poirier to win.

McGregor clearly saw this clip and headed straight for the comments section where he unloaded on the American, saying: "Get this crack head off my company's page this instant!"

The now-deleted tweet garnered plenty of attention during the short time it was live with most fans jumping to Steve-O's defence by slamming McGregor for the below-the-belt shot.

Steve-O's battle with addiction is very well documented and he has been clean for a good few years now, so for McGregor to call him a "crack head" is pretty out of order.

That said, Steve-O didn't seem too phased by it, taking to social media to have his say on the matter.

He wasn't done there either.

The daredevil then posted another picture online, posing alongside UFC commentators Jon Anik, Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier along with his cushty winnings.

Steve-O clearly put his money where his mouth is and chucked a cheeky last-minute bet on 'The Diamond' to get the job done.

And it seems it wasn't just Poirier himself who got the last laugh at UFC 264 with Steve-O also cashing in.

"Since Conor McGregor says I'm a "crackhead" for picking Dustin Poirier to beat him tonight at UFC 264, there must be crackheads everywhere, because I've not heard about any actual professionals picking Conor," he said in his Instagram caption.

"I actually think the odds-makers have presented a fantastic opportunity to bet against Conor, by only making Dustin Poirier a slight favourite. So I went ahead and placed a big bet on Dustin - check out my story right now, I think it's pretty funny."

Steve-O may have seen the funny side of things, but others definitely didn't as McGregor faced heavy backlash for his comments.
