Israel Adesanya is renowned for being one of the best strikers in the UFC.
But this latest clip to surface online proves he's not just great offensively, he also possesses world-class defence too.
'The Last Stylebender' produced another flawless display at UFC 263 to successfully defend his middleweight title for the fifth time - Marvin Vettori becoming his latest victim.

And despite all the hype and underlying tension between the two fighters heading into the bout, Adesanya looked as calm and composed as ever.
That relaxed nature was on show once the octagon doors slammed shut too.
Not only did the Nigerian-born New Zealander out-strike Vettori on the feet, but he also managed to completely shut down the Italian with effective defence.
But while his ability to snub the takedown and even get back to his feet with ease was probably what added to his unanimous points victory, one particular moment of defence stuck out like a sore thumb from the rest.

With his back against the cage and Vettori closing in, Adesanya produced a masterclass in head movement to get himself out of danger in the opening round of action.
As Vettori threw a quick combo, the 185-pound king bobbed and weaved his head and completely avoided every strike coming his way with relative ease.
Adesanya even managed to land a shot of his own as he slipped past Vettori's punches.
To put it simply, Vettori was well and truly tied in knots and to say he was chasing shadows would be an understatement.

The slick defence was reminiscent of the sort of head movement Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has shown throughout his decorated boxing career.
