It looks like something out of a Jurassic Park movie...

The Masters may be rain delayed, but that didn't stop one creature from wanting to have a round of golf on a cold, miserable afternoon.

People on social media have gone into meltdown over the sheer size of this massive alligator after videos emerged of it strolling across a course in Florida.

The viral clip quickly flooded the internet after Florida local Jeff Jones uploaded the moment to his social media channels.

In the video, Jeff carefully circles the beast in his golf buggy while giving a running commentary.

"This guy just going out for a stroll," he said.

Floridian golf courses and massive gators go hand-in-hand - especially if the courses are surrounded by water features.

Casual, semi-pro and even top professional golfers have all had various encounters with huge alligators while playing in parts of America - particularly Florida.

During the PGA Tour back in 2017, Cody Gribble and Smylie Kaufman had arguably one of the most iconic and hilarious run-ins with one particular gator.

While Gribble simply tapped the creature on the back-side to scare it off, Kaufman leapt back and changed the direction he was waling after locking eyes with it.

Their two reactions made for TV gold.
