From the outside, Cristiano Ronaldo looks like a pretty humble guy.

If you put the flashy cars, sparkling-white veneers and mega-money salary to one side, his interviews suggest he's probably a really down to earth bloke.

But his sister's latest comments are the type of remarks that really get under the skin of the Juventus forward's so called 'haters'.

Ronaldo's sister, Katia, has only gone and labelled her superstar brother a 'prophet from god'.

Yes that's right, she really did say that.

And to top it all off, she then questioned whether Cristiano's positive coronavirus test was genuine or not - dubbing the global pandemic as the 'biggest fraud I've ever seen'.

This all stems from a bizarre rant on social media, made even more bizarre by the fact that Katia and Cristiano's own mother shared it.

She posted: "If Cristiano Ronaldo has to wake the world up, I have to say he really is a prophet from God. Thank you.

"I think thousands of people will believe in the pandemia, in the tests and in the measures that have been taken, just like me.

"The biggest fraud I've seen since I was born.

"Today I read a phrase which I stand up to applaud, namely 'Enough of a world of puppets.'

"Please, someone, open your eyes."

Incredibly, Katia is actually a social media influencer - meaning she should probably know how one single post online can spread like wildfire if you're not careful.

And, rather ironically, it was her picture which did exactly that.

Cristiano Ronaldo has contracted COVID-19.

It's understood the rant comes after Cristiano had asked to be tested again for COVID-19.

In his secondary test, the results came back as inconclusive (which they often do).

This clearly sparked some wild conspiracy theories in Katia's head, resulting in her outburst on social media.

As for Cristiano, he is now self isolating with the Portuguese Football Federation confirming that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is "feeling well and has no symptoms".
