Nick Kyrgios is keen on swapping the tennis racquet for a pair of 12-ounce boxing gloves.
The Australian tennis star has officially registered his interest in stepping into the ring to compete in an exhibition boxing match.
"Idea.... Kyrgios vs which tennis player... boxing match? Let's go," he recently tweeted.

And it appears someone has already put their hand up to be his potential punching bag.
"I'm down for a dance," replied American tennis player Tennys Sandgren.
Kyrgios has always been a fan of watching boxing, but his new-found curiosity in actually competing in the sport comes after the recent upsurge in "celebrity bouts".

This has resulted in other big-name celebrities and sports stars wanting to thrown themselves into the ring too - and even the more traditional promoters appear to be all for it.
The fact that a YouTuber went toe-to-toe with arguably one of the greatest boxers of all-time has now opened the door to literally anything inside the ring.
Yes, literally anything.
So far we've seen a bunch of social media influencers, pop stars and even ex-NBA players such as Lamar Odom lace up the gloves.
And in recent weeks, even Russian internet sensation Hasbulla has been in talks to find an opponent for a fight.
As for tennis duo Kyrios and Sandgren, it remains to be seen whether they'll genuinely lock horns in a boxing match.
But judging by the recent popularity of celebrity bouts, Kyrios and Sandgren probably won't struggle to find a promoter, broadcaster and a bunch of sponsors who will throw their money behind it.
