The boxing bout between Jake Paul and Ben Askren is already expected to attract a lot of viewers.

But now it seems there's even more reason to check out the fight after it was announced that Snoop Dogg and Justin Bieber would be performing at the event.

Triller, who are responsible for promoting and staging the highly-anticipated bout, have already started organising the under card for their maiden Fight Club event.

And from the outset, the bouts themselves are shaping up to be exciting.

But in order to take the event to the next level, Triller have acquired the services of two music icons in Snoop and JB.

It's understood the duo will perform prior to the main event between Paul and Askren and will also be joined by fellow artists Diplo, Major Lazer, Saweetie, The Black Keys and Doja Cat.

Also making a guest appearance is Snoop's newly-formed rap group called Mt. Westmore which boasts the likes of Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $hort.

It's understood the "four-hour, pay-per-view spectacle" is being directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Bert Marcus.

"This event is more like making a tentpole movie than a boxing match," Triller's co-controlling shareholder Ryan Kavanaugh told The Hollywood Reporter.

"By bringing in the creative genius Bert Marcus and pairing his unique story-telling vision with his unmatched shooting style, the Fight Club event is going shock and awe people."

"We are giving the world something that has never been seen or done before."

There was even calls for Snoop Dogg to commentate the bout.

Upon hearing the announcement of the star-studded line-up (and no, we're not referring to the YouTuber taking on the 36-year-old retired wrestler), fans went nuts on social media.

And while the fight itself is happening inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, pay-per-view buys are expected to go through the roof.

"Triller has already begun to revolutionise the great American sport of boxing," director Marcus said.

"I'm proud to be taking it to the next level and lead the direction of an unprecedented sporting event through the lens of music entertainment and unmatched behind-the-scenes access, particularly during this time when people haven't had many chances to share important cultural experiences."

This isn't the first time Triller have made the boxing and entertainment worlds collide.

For the exhibition bout between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr last year, Triller organised for Wiz Khalifa, French Montana and Swae Lee to perform - and it went down a treat with boxing fans.

So with the news of Snoop Dogg and Bieber's inclusion in the already-stacked card, there's no wonder why fight fans are eager to see how the event plays out.
