Behind the jokes and smiles, you could tell Dillon Danis was absolutely fuming.

New footage has emerged of Jake Paul's 'drive by' attack where he threw water balloons at Conor McGregor's training partner - and if he's trying p*** off the Irishman's camp, then he's doing a pretty good job.

In the newly-released vision, Danis can he heard saying "f***ing motherf***er bro" while throwing toilet paper back at Paul as he sped off down the road in the back of a pickup truck.

Heard muttering "it's cool it's cool", Danis kept somewhat calm and collected before returning to finish his road-side interview.

"I don't know what it was, I think it was a water balloon," he said.

"I was going to try and jump on that truck but I couldn't get it. I was so close. I wish he would've got out.

"Can we go find them now? Do you have a car?"

The incident occurred while the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and teammate of McGregor's was filming an episode of Food Truck Diaries with former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub.

In the original video, their shoot was suddenly interrupted when YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul pulled up in a ute and started hurling water balloons and toilet paper at Danis, Schaub and the camera crew.

Danis reacted but was unable to get his hands on the trash-talking 23-year-old.

But as the new footage shows, he looked genuinely serious about hopping in Schaub's car and chasing after him down the street.

The original video, which was posted on Paul's social media channels, instantly went viral with millions of views and comments.

As for the new footage, it's already one of the most-viewed clips on Below The Belt's Instagram page - the team behind the Food Truck Diaries series.

Which brings us to one of the most bizarre fan theories out there.

Incredibly, some social media users flocked to the comments section of the new video and accused ex-UFC heavyweight Schaub of setting Danis up by telling Paul their location.

Yes, really.

Schaub is unlikely to address these allegations any time soon and you can totally understand why.

The comments sections on social media pages can be hubs for some of the wildest conspiracies known to man - and this just proves it.

At the end of the day, the stunt itself was all part of an elaborate scheme to get under McGregor's skin - Danis was just the unfortunate bloke that got caught in the crossfire.

Outspoken YouTuber Paul has been angling for a fight with the former champ McGregor and has done everything in his power get get a rise out of him.

First he blasted the UFC megastar's fiancee in a wild call-out video on social media.

Then he unfollowed everyone on Instagram except one person: McGregor's partner.

He even went as far as screenshotting a personal inbox message to prove that McGregor had 'seen' his $50million offer to fight.

But this isn't the first time Paul has gone back and fourth with some of the biggest names in mixed martial arts.

Following his knockout win over former NBA player Nate Robinson, he has been persistent in calling out almost every fighter under the sun including Nate Diaz, Ben Askren and most recently Chris Weidman.

He even took aim at UFC president Dana White - a ballsy move indeed.

If it's a fight Paul wants, it's a fight he'll probably get - unfortunately for him though, it's highly unlikely that it'll be against a sweet-talking tattoo-sporting world-famous Irishman.
