Justin Bieber Says Tom Cruise Is ‘Toast’ As He Challenges Hollywood Actor To Boxing Match

The UFC was prepared to promote a bout between the two megastars after Bieber publicly called out Cruise back in 2019.

Justin Bieber has called out Tom Cruise via social media, leading many people to 'belieb' (sorry, couldn't help myself) that he's angling for a fight with the Hollywood actor.

26-year-old Bieber first challenged Cruise to an exhibition mixed martial arts bout back in 2019.

The feud was all very weird to say the least, with Bieber taking to Twitter to publicly take aim at the all-action movie star for no reason at all.

He tweeted: "I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don't take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight? @danawhite?"

And by all accounts, it seemed UFC president Dana White was more than willing to promote the fight.

But unsurprisingly, the dust quickly settled and the bizarre feud between two of the biggest stars on the planet was brushed under the carpet.

Until now.

Bieber has now taken another swipe at his old friend, captioning an Instagram photo: "Tom Cruise is toast."

The picture itself is of the Canadian singer donning a pair of iconic Muhammad Ali boxing trunks while shooting the music video for his new song 'Anyone'.

In the clip, Bieber emulates the story of Sylvester Stallone's fictional character Rocky Balboa as he undertakes bizarre training methods to become the best inside the ring.

YouTuber turned professional boxer Logan Paul even replied to the post, commenting: "Rocky Balbieber".

And while most social media users saw the funny side of Bieber's cheeky jab at Cruise, others seemed genuine about setting up a potential fight between the two - whether that be in a ring or octagon.

Either way, the Mission Impossible megastar is yet to respond to the call-out - and is unlikely to if we're all being honest.

As for White, he's made it abundently clear that he wants to make the match-up happen.

"I'm not gonna say any names but I'm just gonna tell you that I got a phone call from a couple of real guys that said that they really do want to do this fight and they believe that Tom Cruise would do the fight," the UFC boss told TMZ Sports back in 2019 when Bieber first called out Cruise.

"And I told them, 'Well, I'll tell you this, if that's true, if that's true and everybody involved in this thing really wants to do it, we can talk'.

"Let me tell you what, I'd be an idiot not to make this fight. That would be the easiest fight to ever promote in the history of my career."

And according to reports, the UFC then met with Bieber's manager Scooter Braun in a bid to get a deal done.

Nothing came of it in the end, but this latest call-out a year later could be a cheeky tactic to get Cruise to bite back.

Hopefully it works.
