Conor McGregor Rips Into Floyd Mayweather's 'Embarrassing' Brawl With Jake Paul

The UFC fan favourite took aim at his old pal Floyd, saying: "Whatever way you spin this, it's sad."

Conor McGregor has unsurprisingly reacted to the viral footage of Floyd Mayweather facing off against Jake Paul.

There has been a lot of talk about how the battle went down and McGregor has thrown his two cents in.

Writing on Instagram, The Notorious said: "The kid curled up, didn't fight back once, and Floyd is still running around acting the tough guy.

"The kid actually just pulled this shambles of a situation Floyd is in out of the drain for him. He should thank him.

"It's embarrassing! Pro to pro it's embarrassing.

"He will not scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It was cancelled once already. The world is watching this on Twitter. He'd fight a half decent pro and command 20m upwards, yet its this s***.

"Whatever way you spin this, it's sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or f*** off mate. Slap head!"

It's a lot of talk coming from someone who Floyd beat in a boxing match that was watched around the world.

Mayweather's unexpected showdown came when the YouTuber-cum-fighter Jake confronted him after a press briefing for his bout with Jake's brother Logan.

The face-off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami had all the usual theatrics before a boxing match, however things certainly escalated after Jake challenged Floyd to fight both Paul brothers on the same night.

Jake then snatched Floyd's hat and that started an almighty storm of security pulling people apart and actual death threats being hurled.

Video footage showed Mayweather storming off and screaming 'I'll kill you motherf***er' and it was initially believed to be directed at Logan.

He was bellowing: "I'll kill you motherf*****! Are you crazy? I'll f*** you up, motherf*****. I don't play motherf***ing games. I'll f*** you up."

However, that tirade could have been intended for Jake for the 'gotcha hat' moment.

In an Instagram story, Jake tried to promote a new line of 'gotcha hat' hats and it appeared he was already sporting a black eye from the confrontation.

Social media also speculated whether one of his front teeth had been busted inwards.

Earlier during the face-off, Mayweather called the brothers 'fake fighters'. Logan replied, saying: "The only thing that's fake on this stage is Floyd's f***ing hairline."
