Logan Paul's marketing team are always pretty on it, although their latest ploy has hit a rather large roadblock.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul was seen wearing a t-shirt with a QR code on the front as he conducted an interview with Showtime's Brendon Shaub ahead of his bout with Floyd Mayweather.

But when eager fans tried to open the QR code, they were left disappointed.

The site that the code was meant to drive punters to actually crashed, meaning people were unable to access it at all.

It's understood the code was to promote Blockfolio, a cryptocurrency platform where you can buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Just hours ahead of the fight, Logan took to social media to showcase the QR code shirt, tweeting: "See the QR code on my shirt? Scan it when you see it today on TV, Blockfolio and I are giving 10 people $10,000 in Ethereum. just follow the instructions to win."

But unfortunately for Logan and Blockfolio, the website crashed meaning no one could actually register for their competition.

Some fans took to social media to share their disappointment while others ripped into Logan and his marketing team for their blunder.

Either way, it's just another incident that adds to the sheer craziness of this wild event.
